Described as “a new world-class off-road desert race built to showcase the best off-road racers on the planet,” the inaugural California 300 wrapped up a successful multi-day event from October 12-16, 2022 in Barstow, CA. Even better –– the top three podium finishers, all with Polaris RZR Pro R’s, as well as the champion of the short course, with a RZR Turbo R, all proudly had Shock Therapy products on their vehicle.
Mitch Guthrie won 1st place after a tight race going toe-to-toe against Branden Sims, with Sierra Romo rounding out the podium. While Randy Romo took the win driving the California 300 UTV World Championship Short Course.
The events included multiple days for prerunning, a desert cleanup, as well as the 70-mile race course itself: best described as “fast, technical and punishing.”
